Hospital Pharmacy

In the context of discharge management as well as in questions concerning the optimised economic operation of hospital pharmacies, we support you with our expertise.

Challenges of opening up the outpatient sector

The number of increasing legal changes over the last years is a challeng for the medical and commercial directors as well as the nursing management of the hospital. The further opening of the outpatient sector through the Healthcare Strengthening Act (Versorgungsstärkungsgesetz, VSG), discharge management, outpatient specialist care, the possibility of establishing medical care centres and the cooperation with panel doctors in private practice must be reconciled with the simultaneously existing requirements of the Anti-Corruption Act and the ever-increasing economic constraints.

Advice within the framework of cross-sectoral care

To enable you to use this opening up of hospitals for outpatient care in a profitable and economically sensible way, we support you in the legally secure development of the outpatient sector. We advise our clients from the hospital sector on (everyday) questions such as the authorisation of hospital doctors, the establishment of medical care centres, the requirements for cooperation agreements in outpatient specialist care and the integration of affiliated doctors and fee-based doctors into hospital operations.

Remuneration law

We also support you in special legal questions of hospital accounting and the enforcement of claims for reimbursement against payers and optional service patients. In doing so, we attach importance to a timely and practical approach.

A particular focus is on preventive advice on liability law and the fulfilment of compliance requirements in order to avoid organisational fault.
